I really feel like I’ve been neglecting this blog! Even though I haven’t exactly been posting anything here - I have been doing my drops!! Actually - things have gotten really busy out here in the virtual world with my other blog - and in the real world with work and home improvements.

The kitchen is almost done! The installation and tile have been completed. I’ve been patching holes and putting up painter’s tape all day today. Tomorrow I’ll be doing the painting. The wife is still trying to pick her colors. I figure she’ll have that decided by the time I’m done sanding down all the spackled patches and finish taping around the areas that needed sanding first. Then - we’ll head on down to our favorite DIY box store (..and no, it’s not HD)..and pick up the paint.

I figure I will get to the trim next weekend since we’ll need to make sure the wall paint is dry and then I need to tape around the trim! Can’t do that over fresh paint. So - the point being, hopefully, I can put up some pictures next weekend of the finished kitchen. We made the mistake of not taking any “before” pictures as a direct comparison. However, I’ve been looking through my memory sticks and I think we might have enough regular family time pictures from the kitchen that you guys will be able to see the differences.

In any case - let’s consider this my obligatory post. I’m sure I’ll be back by at least Monday or Tuesday to put something else here! I have some humorous stories to share with regards to the kids - I just haven’t been able to get them out here yet! Anyway - check back again - I just might have them up!

This is a new twist on an old phishing scheme - The Nigerian Letter. Whenever I receive one of those Nigerian Letters (and other iterations) I always forward them to the FBI with a cc to the originator. You can check out how to report these to the FBI here: FBI Common Fraud Schemes.

Also have in mind that the Central Bank Of Nigeria equally have their owN protocol of operation as stipulated on their banking terms, so delay could be very dangerous.

Once again, we will advise that you contact them with the above email address and make sure you forward to them all the necessary information?s which they may require from you prior to the release of your fund to you accordingly.

All modalities has already been worked out even before you were contacted and note that we will be monitoring all your dealings with them as you proceed so you don’t have anything to worry about.

In case you don’t know who Robert S. Mueller, III is, he is THE Head of the FBI. Seriously, does the head of the FBI have time to be sending e-mails out to everyone? This is some pretty funny stuff. I just hope there aren’t people out there stupid enough to fall for this phony kind of e-mail. In case there are - this is notice - you have been warned!

Caveat Emptor!

As promised! Here’s just a few of the pictures from the wedding up in Ft. Bragg.

Ryan was the ring-bearer. Sorry the picture is blurry - had Kylie in one arm squirming while he was coming up. We had to bribe him to get him to do this. That is my step-daughter walking him up the aisle. The only way he would do it was to have her walk him up and I had to promise him I would take him to the mall later to pick out any Spiderman toy he wanted. Once he got to the pews, he said, “That was very scary!” Then he sat down and announced very loudly - “I’m never doing anything like that again!”

Here’s my step-son Danny with his soon-to-be new bride. This is just after her father handed her to Danny.

This is our “Hallmark” picture of the day. As the services began, Ryan stood up to get a better look so obviously, his little sister had to copy him. Look at those curls!

I don’t know if you can see this very well - this is the aftermath of sharing the cake. Danny made a very huge mistake! He went first! I don’t know why people think they need to start their marriage off with a tradition like this..but..I know she was very mad! When it was her turn..not only did she smash it in his face, she rubbed it upwards to make sure it got into his nostrils as well!

And - here’s my wife Mary and Danny - the newlywed! You can definitely tell he’s her son! She had a very hard time with this whole thing. Afterall, she raised him as a single mom for 18 years. She is very connected to him. She has come to the realization that she is not the only love in her son’s life anymore! It was both a sad day and a happy day for her.

And - finally - if you didn’t see them down there - I also posted pictures of Crystal and her new pink cast!

If you all remember, before I left I told you that our puppy broke all four of her toes jumping into her pink bed…well..without further adieu - here’s the pictures of the new pink cast! It’s been a couple weeks now and she gets around really well on it. She’s scheduled to have it on for 6 weeks..so..2 down..4 to go!

What a whirlwind week it has been. I apologize for not posting anything up sooner. After having taken off a couple days from work last week, things were pretty hectic when I got back. So, between the wedding, work, renovating the kitchen, chasing toddlers and doing my school work, I’ve been swamped this past week.

But, I promise to you all, I will post up some of the wedding pictures - and - I still owe you all the pictures of Crystal in her cute little pink-paw cast.

Just wanted to apologize for my absence…this is the weekend my step-son is getting married - been on the road - eating fast food - tying up the kids on the hood of the car - etc etc. I’ll post back when I can regarding the festivities…and they may or may not be pictures! We’ll see.

Oh yeah - one other side note - some of you may remember that I post a lot about my family - my wife and kids are very clumsy - see posts about my daughter’s broken arm, my wife breaking the oven door -etc. Well - there is another pink cast! This time, it’s on the new puppy - Crystal. Apparently, my wife also purchased a clumsy dog. She broke all 4 toes on her front right paw. I’ll post pictures up later in the week of her cast. He broke them the day before we left. She jumped down from a 6 inch ledge into her soft pink bed - and - apparently landed the wrong way.

Anyway - talk to ya’ll later! Gotta get to bed - it’s going to be a Loooonnnngggg day tomorrow!
