He finally Did it!
I know I haven’t reported here before..but..I have a 20 year old son who had dropped out of high school during his senior year when he was 17 (despite all my pleading and words of wisdom). I was very blunt about the fact that without at least a high school diploma, he was going to have a very hard, rough and tough, road ahead of him. Lets just say, since that decision, he has indeed seen the other side of the “bars” for a few months.
Well, last night, he received his G.E.D. at a county-wide graduation ceremony. I am very proud of him for turning things around and starting to make some smart choices in his life. Now - if I can only get him to go to college or some type of technical training school!!! I would post a picture here, but…dummy me…since I went to the ceremony from work, I didn’t have my digital camera. I took a couple pictures on my cell phone - but - after loading them on to the computer - they came out all grainy.
When I get his graduation pictures - I’ll scan them in and post them up here. Anyway, just wanted to publicly announce how proud I am of my son Cameron! Way to go son!
